Welcome to Caramba Mamba! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and any purchases you make through it. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Caramba Mamba is operated by Emily I. Vasquez, an independent professional (trabalhadora independente) based in Lisbon, Portugal.

2. Our products

We design and sell limited-run apparel and accessories, including bandanas and t-shirts, hand-illustrated and inspired by Latin culture.

Products are made in small batches and may sell out. Colors may vary slightly from screen to physical product due to monitor calibration and natural variations in printing and fabric.

3. Orders and prices

All prices are listed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes where relevant.

When you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation email. This email confirms we've received your order — it is not yet acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

If we cancel your order, we will refund you in full.

4. Payment

We accept payments through Squarespace Payments, which uses Stripe as a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details.

5. Shipping

We ship from Lisbon, Portugal via CTT (Correios de Portugal).

  • Portugal: typically 3–5 business days

  • European Union: typically 5–10 business days

  • Rest of World: typically 10–20 business days

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service, customs, or events outside our control.

For international orders, you may be responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees in your country.

6. Right of withdrawal (returns)

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, email us at hello@carambamamba.com with your order number and we'll provide return instructions.

Conditions for return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, with tags attached

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in return transit

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will refund you (minus original shipping costs) within 14 days, using the same payment method you used for the order.

Exceptions: custom or personalized items are not eligible for return unless defective.

7. Damaged or defective items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us at hello@carambamamba.com within 7 days of receipt with photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including return shipping in this case).

8. Intellectual property

All designs, illustrations, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Caramba Mamba. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Portuguese law, our liability for any claim related to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

10. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@carambamamba.com — we'll do our best to resolve it.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. The Terms in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order.
